Sarray debuted in NXT and showed a lot of promise in the company, but she was never able to do much. Eventually, Sarray parted ways with WWE and now it appears her in-ring return has been confirmed.
As previously reported, Sarray left NXT for Japan earlier this year after a lackluster run in WWE’s NXT brand. There was a good reason for her unfortunate run in NXT, as WWE fired a lot of people who were firmly behind her in the first place.
Sarray herself would then confirm that she left WWE NXT and was grateful for the experience there. This was after the fact that Sarray was absent from WWE television for several months. Her last match in WWE was against Mandy Rose back in August 2022.
Now going by her old name Sareee, she took to Twitter and revealed that she is set to make her in-ring return on May 16th at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, Japan. Sareee ended up promoting her own event, titled Sareee-ism. Sareee is set to square off against Chihiro Hashimoto, in what is a highly anticipated match. You may check out the full card of the event below.
Sareee vs. Chihiro Hashimoto
Jaguar Yokota & Nanae Takahashi vs. Kaoru Ito & TBA
Arisa Nakajima & AKARI vs. Miyuki Takase & Ibuki Hoshi
Riko Kaiju vs. Yurika Oka
We will have to wait and see whether Sareee will ever make her return to NXT, as Shawn Michaels is currently in control there. That said, it might be a while for that to happen after Vince McMahon’s WWE return.
