Mercedes Mone has already established herself as one of the best female pro wrestlers on the planet and may feel this is an undisputed fact now. Mone never forgets those who inspired her to become a pro wrestler, which is why she paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero recently. Now it appears that former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado was responsible for the Eddie Guerrero tribute mask that Mone wore recently.

Mercedes Mone became the IWGP Women’s Champion after beating KAIRI in February and instantly became a very big deal there. She would go on to defend her title successfully earlier this month and made sure fans took her seriously. However, Mone dropped the title to Mayu Iwatani at Sunday’s STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom event.

Prior to the match, Mercedes Mone paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero with her ring gear. It paid homage to Guerrero’s time in Japan as Black Tiger II from 1993 to 1996. Naturally, those who understood the homage loved what Mone did.

Former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado took to Twitter and revealed that he made the mask for Mercedes Mone’s ring gear. He also uploaded photos of the mask to further prove his point.

Mercedes Mone will return on May 21st to Long Beach for an NJPW event and she plans on smoking a big one with her cousin Snoop Dogg before the event. She will also become a free agent soon, so we’ll have to see what the future holds for Mone in the end.
