WWE Superstars put their bodies at risk every time they step in the ring. Now, we sadly have another injury to report, and this is a concussion. Braun Strowman might be the Monster of all Monsters, but he is going to take some time off now after a bump to the head caused some damage.
WWE takes concussions very seriously. After the Chris Benoit tragedy, CTE is a big concern. That being said, anyone with a concussion needs to set out of action until all of their symptoms are over.
PW Insider noted behind their paywall that Braun Strowman is out of action with an injury. He reportedly suffered a concussion, and this was confirmed by multiple WWE sources.
Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is currently out of action after suffering a concussion, multiple WWE sources have confirmed.
Strowman was scheduled for this past weekend’s live events teaming with Ricochet against the Viking Raiders but was pulled from the road in order to heal. He wrestled the Raiders with Ricochet on the 4/21 edition of Smackdown, so the injury must have occurred there.
It was also noted that, “there is no word yet how long he is expected out of action.” Hopefully, his hiatus from the ring won’t be a lengthy one.
Braun Strowman is a former Universal Champion, but his booking hasn’t been very strong since his WWE return. Apart from his recent partnership with Ricochet, WWE hasn’t really had much for him to do. Still, he was a big roster member for Triple H to bring back after he became Chief Content Officer.
Braun Strowman was just in action alongside Ricochet. The two formed quite a tag team that stemmed from an insulting tweet. We’ll have to see what’s in their future, but Ricochet might need a new partner in the meantime.
