Jerry Lawler suffered a stroke, and he had to pull out of all appearances as he recovered. Things seemed to be sketchy for the King of Memphis, Tennessee, but he seems to be recovering at home after his health issues.

The King was able to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame, but it was virtually. He was still able to speak about Andy Kaufman, because the two were involved in some legendary moments in the ring together. Those moments were immortalized forever in Man on the Moon.

Jim Ross logged into Twitter today, and he had some news to break about Jerry Lawler. He wished his old broadcast partner the best as he recovers from his stroke. He also revealed that another surgery is on the way for him.

Had a great one hour convo today with ⁦@JerryLawler⁩ who’s recovering from the affects of a stroke.

Jerry’s voice seem to get stronger the longer we spoke.

The King will undergo a procedure next week to help his situation.

We’re sending out our best to Jerry Lawler as he continues his recovery after that stroke. He is still recovering, but fighting a good fight, and hopefully he will be able to have another run in the indies as he continues his pro wrestling career.

The WWE Hall of Famer spent some time in the hospital, but he was finally released and sent home. It seems that he’s not too eager to leave the house at this point.

What’s your take on Jerry Lawler’s pro wrestling career? Do you believe that he should hang up his pro wrestling boots after this? Sound off in the comments!
