‘Heels’ starring Stephen Amell took the world by storm back in 2021 as it delivered the kind of storytelling and drama fans really wanted to see in a pro wrestling show. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the second season to come out, but it has been delayed. Now it appears the reason for the delay has been revealed.

Fans have been waiting to see the return of Jack and Ace Spade in the Starz drama as they simply want to see more of the conflict between the two brothers, as they navigate the treacherous waters of pro wrestling.

The show wrapped shooting on their second season last summer, but there hasn’t been any hint of a season premiere on Starz whatsoever. Naturally, this worried fans about the future of the show.

According to a report by PWInsider, the delay is because of the separation of Lionsgate and Starz into two separate entities. While the two parties determine the allocation of assets, ‘Heels’ has been caught in the crossfire.

It was said that all episodes of season 2 are “100% produced and finished,” so the show will be ready to drop when the two parties have finalized their restructuring. We will have to wait and see when the show will finally release on Starz.
