Naomi had not been in WWE since May 2022 after she walked out on the company along with Mercedes Mone. Naomi eventually parted ways with WWE and her future in pro wrestling became a huge topic of discussion. Recent reports suggested that STARDOM decided to not sign Naomi as she was too expensive and now it appears Naomi decided to deny those reports.
As previously reported, Naomi revealed that she is no longer part of WWE. Naturally, fans were finally relieved that she is actually not part of Vince McMahon’s company anymore.
Many fans speculated that she would end up joining a Japanese promotion, much like Mercedes Mone. That said, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested that STARDOM decided Naomi was too expensive to bring in.
Naomi took to her Instagram story and directly addressed such rumors. The former WWE Superstar denied Dave Meltzer’s report and stated that it was not true whatsoever. She simply wrote ‘not true’ over the report
While Mercedes Mone continues to thrive in Japan for the time being, Naomi’s future in pro wrestling remains a big question mark. We will have to wait and see where Naomi will end up working.
