WWE Backlash Spoiler Alert: Major Match Planned for the Event

It has been a topic of speculation as to what type of match Bad Bunny would have at WWE Backlash. However, according to a report from PWInsider, it appears that he will participate in a standard tag team match.

The match will see Bad Bunny and Rey Mysterio team up against Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest. It was previously rumored that the match could have been a six-man bout involving Bunny, Rey, and Santos Escobar against Priest, Dominik, and Finn Balor. However, the current plan is for the tag team match.

The announcement of the tag team match is expected to be made on SmackDown, along with the announcement of Zelina Vega vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.

WWE Backlash is set to take place on May 6 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The event will be hosted by Bad Bunny and will feature a match between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, The Usos) will also take on Matt Riddle and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
