Pro wrestling fans have a few legendary figured in the sport who stand above the rest. The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and John Cena are certainly Superstars who broke through and captured mainstream appeal on top of the pro wrestling fan base. It seems that Mercedes Mone won’t rest until she’s on that list.

The former WWE Women’s Champion is no stranger to speaking her mind. That bold decision-making is what led her to walk out of WWE in the first place. Now that she’s doing her own thing, Mercedes Mone is not aiming low in the slightest.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Mercedes Mone made a very bold claim. She knows how respected and important people like Kenny Omega, John Cena and The Rock are. She also won’t stop until everyone considers her name along with them.

“I’m not the greatest women’s wrestler, I am the greatest wrestler.

When you think of John Cena, The Rock or Kenny Omega, I won’t stop until people are thinking of Mercedes Moné in that same light.”

The Mandalorian is back for another season, and Mercedes Mone is reprising her role as Kona Reeves. That role saw her enter into a brand new fan base with Star Wars die-hards, and it even landed her that first important non-WWE action figure. Only time will tell if that part translates into even more for the former Sasha Banks.

WWE may have an open door for Mercedes Mone to enter into talks with them about a return. That doesn’t mean she is going to take it. Obviously, she has a lot going on right now.

Do you miss Sasha Banks in WWE? Do you think that Mercedes Mone is going to make her name even bigger than The Boss? Sound off in the comments!
