Drew McIntyre gutted through an injury that he sustained on the road to WrestleMania. He did not stop and still followed through with his triple threat match for the IC Title at WrestleMania 39. Then McIntyre had to take a hiatus from action, but he won’t be gone for very much longer.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Drew McIntyre was out of action with an injury. It was said to be minor, but no specific about what kind of injury he is dealing with was made known. Apparently, he will be back in a few weeks.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter included a note about Drew McIntyre. It was also noted that the Scottish Warrior will be back in action in a few weeks, but nothing new is known about his situation.

McIntyre won’t be in action at least the next few weeks and there is nothing else new right now on his situation. He was also not advertised for the 7/7 Smackdown taping in Madison Square Garden, nor was Reigns. His contract has months to go and there’s been no change in that situation past the sides were far apart on money

The fact that Drew McIntyre hasn’t inked a new deal with WWE just yet adds another level of intrigue to the situation. We will have to see what kind of resolution they are able to come to.
