Pro wrestling isn’t easy on anyone involved in the business, especially the talent in the ring. Those Superstars give their bodies for the entertainment of fans, and it appears that there’s a growing list of WWE Superstars who are not able to compete.

Ronda Rousey and Drew McIntyre might be two of the most frequent additions to the injured list, but they are not alone. Other big names like Bray Wyatt and Kofi Kingston were already on the list. That also includes a ton of names from NXT.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided a note about the current amount of WWE Superstars who are medically disqualified. That list is quite long in NXT, with about a dozen people on it. The main roster’s list of disqualified talent is also pretty big, and it is crammed full of popular names.

There are an unusually high amount of injuries and medical absences right now, mostly in developmental, where about a dozen people are out of action in the system. Among those out for various reasons right now are Amari Miller, Arianna Grace, Nikkita Lyons, Roderick Strong, Sanga, Blair Davenport, Yulisa Leon and several other trainees. The key main roster people out for mostly health reasons are Big E, Wyatt, Orton, Rousey, Kingston, Roode, Ciampa, Styles, Aliyah, McIntyre, Gargano and Carmella

Everyone on that list could be used on the main roster in different ways. Even those names from NXT are missed in the company’s developmental brand. Thankfully, WWE has a general rule of thumb against releasing injured talent, but it has happened in the past.

Hopefully, WWE can get those injured Superstars back on the active side of the roster. There is some big talent on that list, including 2/3 of the New Day. Obviously, Vince McMahon’s company could use their services as they round the corner after WrestleMania to bring a new crop of stories.

Which injured WWE Superstar do you miss the most? Who do you think will return first? Sound off in the comments!
