AEW Could Be Planning Big Mixed Tag Match With Saraya

Saraya wasn’t supposed to wrestle again after her doctors and WWE’s medical team disqualified her from competition. She didn’t take no for an answer and got right to work with AEW as soon as she could. Now the former Paige is ready for whatever Tony Khan’s company has in store for her.

During AEW Dynamite this week, Adam Cole and Chris Jericho had it out in a promo battle. It appeared that Britt Baker and Saraya couldn’t help themselves but get involved as well.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on that AEW Dynamite segment. He said that it appears that a mixed tag team situation could be coming out of this deal.

So it looks like they should be doing Chris Jericho and Saraya against Adam Cole and Britt Baker in a mixed tag.

We’ll have to see how AEW books this feud. Obviously, mixed tag team matches aren’t booked in AEW very often, so that match could feel special if given the proper build.
