Vince McMahon is one of the most controversial names in the history of professional wrestling. He also has a temper that has been compared to a volcano and his pettiness has been well documented as well. That said, it appears he did not induct The Mountie into the WWE Hall Of Fame after a nasty backstage fight.
The Mountie was one of the better-known heels during his time in WWE back in the 90s. The pro wrestling veteran became a made man after he defeated Bret Hart to win the Intercontinental Championship.
Despite being a veteran, The Mountie has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. While speaking with Steve Fall of Ten Count, The Mountie talked about not being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
The Mountie revealed that Vince McMahon decided to not put him in the Hall of Fame because of a backstage fight he had with the Dynamite Kid. The Mountie believes McMahon gave him a receipt by not putting him in the Hall of Fame.
“I honestly feel from the bottom of my heart if it wasn’t for that big fight we had and all that, The Rougeaus would be in the Hall of Fame because everybody else we worked with, that we worked months and years with, like The Hart Foundation, The Rockers, The Bulldogs, Tito Santana, and everything I accomplished as The Mountie is incredible, The Jailhouse Match. I could go on and on and on about all the things I’ve accomplished in 11 years. I think that he’s given me a receipt by not putting me in the Hall of Fame.”
The Rougeau brothers will always be regarded as one of the best tag teams of all time, with The Mountie also carving his own path in the business. However, it is unlikely he will ever get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
