WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff is a true veteran of professional wrestling and has seen the industry undergo numerous changes over the years. Bischoff has largely been critical of AEW for a while now and even fans wonder if he will ever stop. That doesn’t seem to be the case as Bischoff recently stated that AEW will become a joke after their roster split.

Reports have suggested that AEW is in the process of bringing back CM Punk to the company. It was then reported that AEW would somehow get back Punk by having him be the main attraction in their new show called AEW Collision.

Chris Jericho also recently hinted at AEW getting a third television show. It was further added that the upcoming AEW Collision show will essentially split up the already-dense AEW roster.

While speaking on the Strictly Business podcast, Eric Bischoff addressed AEW’s roster being split up. Bischoff stated that Turner Broadcasting is a mess and wished them good luck, adding that they deserve what they will get.

Eric Bischoff would go on to say “there are some dumbasses in Turner Broadcasting right now” if AEW is actually splitting up the roster in order to keep the roster away from each other but get them all on television during the same week. Bischoff further stated that if this is how things will go, then AEW is a joke and so is Turner.

”Good luck, you deserve whatever you get. Turner, you’re a fricken mess, you’re not the company you used to be.

There’s executives in that company that couldn’t find their ass with both hands and a compass when it comes to making a good decision if this is the direction that they’re going. Good fricken luck.

If these reports that the show is being created just to help keep people on the AEW roster away from each other but get them all on television during the same week are true, then there are some dumbasses in Turner Broadcasting right now. If this is how things play out, then AEW is a joke and so is Turner.”

We will have to wait and see how AEW will end up splitting the roster once CM Punk eventually returns to the company for the debut episode of AEW Collision in June. It will certainly be an interesting time to an AEW fan.

What’s your take on what Eric Bischof said? Do you think AEW will become a joke after the roster split? Sound off in the comments!
