Matt Cardona Shuts Down Hater Who Claims He Gets Paid In Crumbs

Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, struggled to gain significant screen time and was unable to truly break out as a star there. He was eventually released by WWE in 2020 and went on to achieve greater success outside the organization. He is truly the king of the indies for many fans and has made a ton of cash there as well. Now it appears he shut down a hater who claimed he gets paid in crumbs from the indies.

After his WWE release, Matt Cardona truly reinvented himself in the independent circuit. Cardona especially made a name for himself in Impact Wrestling and GCW, where he became the World Champion in the latter promotion.

He eventually came to be known as the Indy God as well as the Death Match King, earning titles from all over the world and proudly displaying his terrific marketability as of late.

A hater recently took to Twitter and told Matt Cardona to stop taking money out of his wife Chelsea Green’s wallet and claimed that he gets paid in crumbs from the indies. Cardona replied to the hater and made it clear that he pays more in taxes than the hater earns in one year.

Lol. I just paid my taxes.

I made so much money this year on the indies that I guarantee what I paid in taxes is more than you made in an entire year.

Matt Cardona previously stated that he has unfinished business in the WWE and is looking forward to his comeback in the company. While Cardona’s wife Chelsea Green returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, only time will tell when he would make his comeback to the company. Till then, he is more than happy to continue to be the Indy God.
