Ric Flair Visits Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael As His Condition Continues To Deteriorate

Steve “Mongo” McMichael is not doing too well. The legend is suffering from ALS, and his condition has only gotten worse. Ric Flair recently visited Mongo, and shared a little update.

Along with a photo, Ric Flair dropped an update on Mongo. It seems that McMichael is doing okay, and “stronger” than anyone The Nature Boy knows.

We previously reported that Misty Davenport provided an update on the former WCW star and NFL legend. She said that he can no longer move his arms due to the disease.

Steve McMichael cannot use his hands or arms due to #ALS, so this is NOT #Mongo. And, I formally request that you immediately stop posting about him out of respect for him & his family.

Davenport also added, “If you’d like to mock or post about him after his death, politely wait 3 years posthumously” to the end of her tweet. The account that she replied to was not set up to troll, but to honor Mongo by sharing old clips.

There was a GoFundMe set up for Mongo’s family that broke its $200k goal. Chris Jericho contributed $2,500 to the cause, along with so many others. We’re sending out our best to Mongo and his family.

Our thoughts are with Mongo and his family as they continue this difficult journey. Ric Flair obviously hasn’t given up on his friend.
