Nia Jax’s release from WWE came as a surprise for many people out there. Fans saw many Superstars cut during the pandemic in the name of budget cuts, but firing The Rock’s cousin was certainly unexpected. That being said, she’s not closing the door on a WWE return.

The Royal Rumble saw a few unexpected moments this year. Nia Jax’s return to the ring for that over-the-top-rope battle royal match was not expected at all. Jax proclaimed that she was “back” as she cleared house in the Royal Rumble match, but it was a one-off outing.

While speaking to RIng The Belle, Nia Jax was asked about a potential return to the ring. She is not saying no this time, which is a change of tune.

“I’m the last person to know. Honestly. How many times have they told me right before something happens? Rumble (2019), Survivor Series (2018), even coming back for the Rumble. I’m the last person to know. I couldn’t tell you. ‘Give us the tea.’ I don’t know. They’re going to tell me last minute. That’s probably what may or may not happen. Who knows? ”

Nia Jax previously dismissed the idea of a pro wrestling return, indicating that life is in her past. It seems that she might have some aspirations to get into the ring once again, because that wrestling bug could have always bitten the Irresistible Force.

Nia Jax hasn’t returned since the Royal Rumble, and there don’t seem to be any creative plans in place. That being said, a WWE Draft is coming up, and her name would certainly be a surprising one to hear called on the big day.

What’s your take on this situation with Nia Jax? Do you want to see her make a return to the ring? Sound off in the comments!
