Rhea Ripley Still Wants Dream Match Against Beth Phoenix

Rhea Ripley has been given one amazing opportunity after another in WWE so far, and she took full advantage of everything. The Nightmare is currently the SmackDown Women’s Champion after toppling Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Saturday, but she already has her eyes on another legendary opponent.

Beth Phoenix returned to WWE for a mixed tag match, but she went home after that. According to Rhea Ripley, they still have unfinished business with each other.

While speaking to After The Bell, Rhea Ripley made it clear that she still wants that singles match against Beth Phoenix. That match against the WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t happened yet, but it is certainly on Ripley’s bucket list.

I think one of the main ones is, I want my singles match with Beth Phoenix. I want my singles match, not a tag, a singles. But if she doesn’t fit the mold of what we’re going with, and we’re going with first time ever, I want to say Lita. I think that would be a lot of fun.”

Beth Phoenix has proven that she can still go in the ring when needed. Her appearances are far more sporadic than Edge’s, but she still receives a great welcome any time she returns to WWE television.

Only time will tell when WWE fans will see Beth Phoenix again, but a match against Rhea Ripley could certainly be worthy of a top spot on any card. Obviously, Rhea Ripley is just waiting for WWE to book it.
