IYO Sky Remembers Putting Racist Fan In His Place During WWE NXT Live Event

WWE Superstars have to handle all sorts of situations. Sadly, IYK Sky had to handle herself when someone told her to “Go back to China,” even though she’s Japanese. That is a moment that still sticks in her mind, and her partner, Dakota Kai.

RIng The Belle recently sat down with Dakota Kai and IYO Sky. The Damage CTRL members took a walk down memory land and remembered one fan at an NXT live event that really offended IYO Sky by calling her “Chinese.” This is when Sky had to correct him in the middle of the match.

Dakota Kai told the outlet that she remembers that situation. Things are still very clear in her memory. As she remembered it, that fan was being a terrible human being anyway, so IYO Sky just put him in his place.

“Oh! Remember? NXT? That guy was being an asshole anyways. What are you doing? Get out of there. She was right to put you in your place bro.”

IYO Sky then added, “Oh yeah, I remember that, yeah. We can’t judge anything like race, you know? Race, yeah.” Sadly, this is a situation she’s probably dealt with before.

WWE Superstars are in the public eye all the time, and that can also come with needless comments from ignorant people. Thankfully, IYO Sky was able to put that hater in his place.
