Charlotte Flair has accomplished a lot during her time in WWE, as she is now a 14-time Women’s Champion and her star continues to shine bright even now. That said, legends such as Madusa recently stated that she wants Flair as her final opponent in a retirement match. Now it appears that Flair has finally responded to the request and wants to face Madusa.
On the other hand, WWE Hall Of Famer Madusa was a trailblazer for women’s wrestling back in the day. She had competed all around the world, especially in Japan and established herself as one of the all-time greats.
While doing media in March to promote her new book, Madusa talked about having a retirement match. During that time, Madusa had named some likely opponents. This includes the likes of Rhea Ripley and then Charlotte Flair.
While speaking to TV Insider, Charlotte Flair talked about Madusa’s challenge. The Queen made it clear that she would be honored to face off against Madusa in a retirement match.
I would be honored to have her retirement match. That’s the first time I actually responded to the challenge. So here you go.
Charlotte Flair lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 and will be taking a hiatus once again. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Flair and Madusa will square off against each other in the future.
