The Blackpool Combat Club have become a problem in AEW. This week on AEW Dynamite, they laid waste to The Elite’s buddies Michael Nakazawa and Brandon Cutler. This was a bloody affair, but it could have gone much worse.

Jon Moxley grabbed the microphone after the referee called for the bell. He called out Kenny Omega, dissing him for not being there at all. Suddenly, Omega’s music hit and he came out to a big pop.

Suddenly, The Young Bucks appeared behind Jon Moxley and nailed a double superkick on him. This was a big surprise, because Matt Jackson just suffered a torn biceps. He opted not to have surgery, and it looks like he won’t miss much action either.

Nick Jackson’s injury was part of the storyline, and it was an excuse to write him off television for a week as well. Now, it appears that The Elite are still on television, and Matt Jackson will work through any injury that he’s dealing with.

What’s your take on AEW stars working through injuries like this? Is it the best practice for everyone on the roster? Sound off in the comments!
