During AEW Dynamite this week, Ethan Page took the ring, and he wasn’t happy at all. It turns out that Matt Hardy and Private Party are no longer in the Firm if they win an upcoming match. Their goal is to get away from Ethan Page and Stokely Hathaway, but Big Bill and Lee Moriarty ran down to destroy them.
Hook ran down next and cleared all the bad guys out of the ring, except for Big Bill, who was too big for Hook. Suddenly, Jeff Hardy’s music hit, and he came out to the ring with a chair.
The crowd popped big time to see Jeff Hardy, and that did the trick to run off the heels. The ovation for Jeff Hardy was amazing as he hit a Swanton Bomb on Lee Moriarty. Matt Hardy was very glad to share the ring with his brother again.
Jeff Hardy just had eye surgery as well. It seems that healed up right on time for his return to AEW. He seemed to have no issues in the ring, and he was in great shape as well.
Jeff Hardy’s DUI case closed in February. It seems that Tony Khan eventually figured out a way to get him back in the mix.
We will have to see how Jeff Hardy factors into AEW, but he is back on television. This comes a few weeks after his DUI charge from 2022 was finally put to rest. Jeff can’t drive for a decade, but he’s back on the road with AEW.
