Triple H is regarded as one of the all-time greats in the world of professional wrestling, who has mainstream appeal even now. Many people have paid tribute to The Game over the years and now it seems UFC star Israel Adesanya is the latest person to do so.
At UFC 287, Israel Adesanya challenged Alex Pereira for the UFC middleweight championship. Prior to the fight, both competitors made their way towards the Octagon before locking horns.
As pointed out by many fans, Israel Adesanya paid tribute to Triple H during his entrance. The UFC star drank from a water bottle before spitting up the water in the air, similar to what Triple H used to do.
Israel Adesanya had a reason to celebrate, as he would go on to knock out Alex Pereira and win the UFC middleweight championship once again. Needless to say, fans were very happy about this.
This was also not the first time Israel Adesanya paid tribute to a WWE legend. Last year, Adesanya previously paid homage to The Undertaker by coming out to The Deadman’s entrance theme while wearing his iconic hat. Adesenya truly loves pro wrestling and it is always great to see him pay tribute to the legends of the business.
What do you think of Israel Adesanya paying tribute to Triple H during his entrance at UFC 287? Do you think it’s great to see him pay homage to pro wrestling legends? Leave a comment.
