UFC 287 went down on Saturday night, and the event drew a fair amount of attention. The crowd was full of famous faces, like Donald Trump and Kid Rock, but the action was also fierce in the Octagon. It turns out that Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira also stole the show.

The Kaseya Center in Miami was packed for UFC 287, and they had the world watching at home. As Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira faced off against each other, their rematch was highly anticipated. The middleweight championship title was at stake, and Twitter was also buzzing over the fight.

Adesanya and Pereira previously fought in November 2022, with Adesanya emerging as the winner. That being said, Pereira was determined to redeem himself and snatch the championship title from Adesanya.

Both fighters looked determined to win the fight, but only one man could emerge victoriously. Then Adesanya took out Pereira, delivering a devastating knockout punch in the second round.

With that KO, Adesanya regained the middleweight championship belt, and fans were left to deal with their excitement in their own ways. There were also a ton of reactions on Twitter.

WWE Superstars took notice of this fight. After all, the UFC and WWE are set to merge, so they might be watching their future coworkers in a sense. Damian Priest might have had the best reply as he reacted to Izzy’s bow and arrow taunt after the knockout by saying, “Infamy! Wow.”

Cameron Grimes, who is expected to make his main roster debut soon, tweeted out, “back against the wall!” Also, TJ Wilson sent out a message to say, “I’m so happy Izzy won!!!! I’ll be honest, I thought Pereira had his number, I was gladly wrong.”

Others reacted with emojis and simple messages to show how shocked they are. This was obviously a big win, and nobody saw the finish coming with this KO.

Were you shocked by this UFC finish? Was it the best win of 2023? Sound off in the comments!
