The April 14th, 2023 episode of ROH TV was taped at the Ryan Center in Kingston, Rhode Island ahead of AEW Rampage, and featured a series of exciting matches.
The first match saw Skye Blue take on Kelly Madden, with Blue coming out on top with a victory.
Mark Briscoe defended himself against Ari Daivari in the second match, but was attacked by Daivari, Josh Woods, and Tony Nese after the match. The trio were soon interrupted and thwarted by AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, who came to Briscoe’s aid.
The ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli faced off against Metalik and managed to retain his title, in what was likely an impressive match.
Robyn Renegade defeated Madison Rayne, however, Rayne appeared to have suffered an injury during the match. No details of the injury have been released as of yet.
Wheeler Yuta and Tracey Williams were pitted against each other in the fifth match, with Yuta coming out on top in what was undoubtedly a hard-fought contest.
Katsuyori Shibata and Alex Coughlin took on Anthony Henry and JD Drake, with the ROH Pure Champion and his partner managing to secure a win.
Darius Martin fought Mike Bennett in a grueling match that eventually saw Bennett and Matt Taven attack Martin. However, their attack was stopped by Action Andretti, who made the save.
Willow Nightingale defeated Little Mean Kathleen in the penultimate match of the night, before Stu Grayson finished the night off by defeating Tony Nese.
Finally, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena retained her title in a match against Ashley D’Amboise. After the match, Athena taunted the crowd by throwing D’Amboise out of the ring.
