WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff is a true veteran of professional wrestling. Due to his veteran status, his opinion is still taken seriously, for the most part. That being said, Bischoff has largely been critical of AEW. AEW recently made headlines after announcing they will be holding All In at the Wembley Stadium this year. It seems Eric Bischoff believes AEW All In in the UK will sell more tickets than WWE Clash At The Castle.
As many people are aware by now, Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff do not necessarily have the best of relationships. The two had a falling out back in 2021, and it has not really gotten any better. Even then, Bischoff has largely tried to keep things professional.
Tony Khan’s major announcement came around this week on AEW Dynamite, which became a massive deal for many fans as All In will be taking place on August 27th for AEW All In London.
While speaking on Strictly Business, Eric Bischoff talked about AEW moving to the United Kingdom for the upcoming All In event. In a surprising turn, Bischoff ended up giving props to AEW for the move. Not only that, he even stated that All In will end up selling more tickets than WWE Clash At The Castle.
“I think this is a good move. I’m guessing, pretty safe guess, that they’re going to do extremely well in the UK. So, I think it’s a smart move. Do I think it’s going to change the landscape forever? I think that’s a lot of hyperbole and bulls*** … I think it’s going to be big, big boost when it comes to international television distribution.
I think AEW will beat that[WWE Clash At The Castle]. I think the new car smell will, will work in their favor.”
As previously reported, AEW has racked up huge numbers for All In’s pre-sale sign ups. It remains to be seen whether AEW will be able to fill up Wembley Stadium, which has a total capacity of 90,000. Regardless, fans are very excited for the upcoming All In event, as it promises to be historic in many ways for the company.
