WWE’s biggest show of the year took place over the weekend, and fans are still shaking off that WrestleMania haze. Vince McMahon’s return to WWE creative also worries a lot of fans, so it’s anyone’s guess what to expect on SmackDown this week.
The Bloodline saga dominated WWE over the past year, and they also dominated WrestleMania by claiming main event spots on both nights. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn beat the Usos in the main event of WrestleMania Saturday, and now we have new champions.
Their story will continue this week on SmackDown. It appears that they are far from over. This week’s episode of SmackDown will see Sami Zayn take on Jey Uso in singles action.
One half of the NEW Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions @SamiZayn goes one-on-one with Jey @WWEUsos tomorrow night on #SmackDown!
This match is a long time coming between Jey and Sami. Those two have a lot of drama between them, as Jey Uso actually walked out on the Bloodline after Zayn’s ejection at the Royal Rumble. This could give them a chance to put a bow on their story, or progress things further on the road to WrestleMania Backlash.
We’ll have to see how it all goes down when the show is live on Friday. For more information, keep clicking on Ringside News.
