For three years now, WWE has been releasing several talents and members of staff, right from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Quite a few unexpected talents were released by WWE, and this included Nigel McGuinness. Many fans were surprised to see McGuinness released from the company. He eventually made his return to ROH during the Supercard of Honor event and now it seems McGuiness is officially part of the AEW family.

Nigel McGuinness was one of the most exciting superstars to make a name for themselves in Ring of Honor. The former WWE color commentator is also known to hang in the ring with the likes of Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Rave, and Chris Hero.

During Ring Of Honor’s Supercard Of Honor event last week, Nigel McGuinness returned as part of the commentary team. At the time, Tony Khan had stated that they brought him back only for the event.

However, Tony Khan took to Twitter just now and officially announced that Nigel McGuinness has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling and is part of the family for good.
