WWE and UFC are set to be combined into a brand-new company, but they haven’t decided on a name just yet. Even if a name is in place, it doesn’t seem like they are ready to reveal it just yet.
Triple H’s new role in WWE was also made very clear after the company sale. WWE and UFC will be a new publicly traded company under the Wall Street stock name TKO, but that’s all we know right now.
During an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, Air Emanuel stated that they haven’t landed on a new name just yet, but the new company should be available on the public stock exchange in the next 4 to 6 months.
“We’re working on it now, very soon. Hopefully [the company can go public] within the next 4 to 6 months, depending on the government.”
WWE and Endeavor have some serious plans for the future. Vince McMahon seemed very bullish on the entire sale as well, which could also have a lot to do with how much money he’s raking in as part of the massive buyout.
Only time will tell what they call the new company. It is pretty easy to bet that fans will still have some sort of pushback after the new name drops, because change is never easy.
What’s your take on a new WWE name? What should they call the company? Sound off in the comments!
