Cody Rhodes Claims AEW Stars Haven’t Reached Out About Jumping Ship To WWE

Cody Rhodes is currently one of the most established stars in the world of WWE right now. Cody’s stock continues to increase with every passing week, and that’s not going to change anytime soon. He still keeps in touch with many AEW stars, but it seems no one from AEW has reached out to him when it comes to joining WWE.

Cody Rhodes suddenly left AEW in February last year, leaving fans in shock. Before his exit, Rhodes was a standout performer in AEW, helping put over numerous talent with his solid performances in the ring.

Cody Rhodes was frequently booed in AEW toward the very end of his run with the company. All fans wanted was for him to turn heel in the company, but that never ended up happening.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Cody Rhodes made it clear that no AEW stars have directly reached out to him when it came to jumping ship to WWE. That said, Rhodes stated that he is always open to advising AEW stars.

“No one has reached out, flat out, and said, ‘How can I get there? What do I need to do?'”. Most of it’s been, ‘Hey, this is great, but can you still watch my promo from Dark and tell me if it was any good?’ Most of it’s that stuff. … I can help with that.”

The American Nightmare also believes he should not have let certain AEW wrestlers beat him. Cody Rhodes was also unable to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, so it remains to be seen what WWE has planned for him next.
