Vince McMahon returned to WWE to help usher in a sale. There were some heavy-hitters under consideration to buy the company, and it seems that they have landed on a new owner.

Although Saudi Arabia and Comcast were also potential buyers, they are not going to secure the big deal. According to a new report, UFC parent company, Endeavor, is going to lay down all that cash for WWE.

CNBC reports that WWE is expected to be sold to Endeavor, the parent company of the UFC. This massive deal is expected to be announced on Monday.

Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment is in advanced talks to be sold to Ari Emanuel’s Endeavor Group, the parent company of UFC, according to people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be announced as soon as Monday. UFC and WWE are expected to form a new publicly traded company as part of the agreement, according to the people, who declined to be named due to the confidential nature of the discussions.

It was further noted that, “Endeavor is slated to own 51% of the new combat sports and entertainment company, while WWE shareholders would get 49%, according to the people. The Endeavor deal gives WWE an enterprise value of $9.3 billion, they said.”

This is a huge surprise, because it was said that Endeavor was out of the running. It was said that they didn’t want to make any more big purchases. It seems that they have changed their minds.

With confirmation possibly coming on Monday, it seems that WWE is falling into the hands of a new owner after all. They will also accomplish that before their initial target of the middle of 2023.

What’s your take on the UFC’s parent company buying WWE? Will they make WWE better? Sound off in the comments!
