Thunder Rosa is a former AEW Women’s World Champion, but her title reign was stifled by an injury that took her out of action. It’s been quite a while since fans saw her lock up in the squared circle, and it might be an even bigger wait.

Thunder Rosa returned to AEW a little while ago, but not as an active wrestler. Instead, she is a part of the company’s Spanish language commentary team.

While speaking at the Busted Open WrestleMania Party, Thunder Rosa gave a little bit of an update about her injury status. It seems that it will be quite a wait before fans see anything from her in the ring again.

“That’s the question everyone asks me during the signings. Unfortunately, I wasn’t cleared and I don’t think I’m going to be cleared anytime soon. I need another MRI.”

Thunder Rosa gave her all for the pro wrestling business, but it seems that she won’t be back for a while. Hopefully, she is able to do some good things as a part of AEW’s commentary team.

What’s your take on Thunder Rosa’s injury? Do you miss seeing her in the ring? Sound off in the comments!
