WWE has a lot of promising talent in their NXT brand, but it seems that Bron Breakker has done everything they can in the developmental territory. We’ll have to see what’s next after he dropped the NXT Title to Carmelo Hayes, but the company has had their eyes on Breakker for a main roster jump for quite some time now.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about Bron Breakker’s NXT Title loss. He stated that WWE wanted to “fast track” Breakker a year ago, but he stuck around NXT. Now, it might finally be his time.
It was probably a year ago where I was told that they’re fast-tracking him to the main roster, and they’re not there yet, and I’d say if they did it at the time that it wasn’t the right time, but you know, he’s been the champion down there for a long time. He’s got his sealegs, so to speak. He can go out there and do stuff. How he does on the main roster remains to be seen, and you never know how someone will get over on the main roster, and how he’ll be booked.
A theory was also floated out that Bron Breakker might take up Bobby Lashley’s WrestleMania open challenge. That is a very interesting idea, but KSI also wants in on the action.
It was noted that Triple H is still doing the booking for the WWE main roster, despite the fact that Vince McMahon is around once again. Only time will tell what Bron Breakker is going to do at next year’s WrestleMania, but Stand & Deliver certainly included a big title loss that could open the door for him to the main roster.
