John Cena’s WrestleMania 39 Shoes Were A Special Tribute

John Cena opened up WrestleMania Saturday against Austin Theory in a United States Title contest. Although Cena lost that match, there was one eatery who was thrilled just to see his gear.

The Kowloon Restaurant tweeted out a few photos of John Cena from his WrestleMania match. He was rocking their shoes, and they wanted to make sure to send out a public message of gratitude.

Vince McMahon and John Cena are actually great friends. McMahon even showed up to RAW in Boston just to see Cena. Of course, things changed at WrestleMania.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that John Cena’s old friend Vince McMahon showed up to WrestleMania 39 for work this time around. “For this one, he’s on the headsets, and he’s got the office, and he’s, I mean it’s still Triple H running it, but it is Vince McMahon is very much involved now.”

As Ringside News exclusively reported, John Cena received Vince McMahon’s blessing. Cena and Vince McMahon have also been known to go out to dinner. We have to wonder if they’ll give Kowloon Restaurant a try.
