Cody Rhodes Gives WrestleMania Weight Belt To Brodie Lee Jr At Ringside

WrestleMania 39’s main event match was a long story to write, and it came to a head in SoFi Stadium. Roman Reigns put his Undisputed WWE Universal Title on the line against Cody Rhodes in an epic encounter.

Cody Rhodes won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match. His goal was to finish his story. It seems that is exactly what he was able to do at the show of shows.

On his way to the ring in SoFi Stadium, the fans sang along with Cody Rhodes’ theme song in a big way. Then he got to the ring, but took a little extra time getting between the ropes.

Cody Rhodes usually gives his weight belt to a kid at ringside. This time, he had a very special young man at ringside to hand that title off to.

Brodie Lee Jr was at ringside, and Cody handed him the belt. Michael Cole also called attention to the fact that Brodie Lee Jr was at WrestleMania.

This was a very cool moment, and Cody Rhodes made sure to make it special for Brodie Lee Jr as well. That belt also had a special inscription on it, which paid tribute to the indie companies that Cody Rhodes traveled to during his run after WWE.
