The Miz is a celebrated and accomplished WWE Superstar, who has established a permanent place in the company’s history. He boasts an impressive track record of championship wins and has expanded his reach beyond the wrestling ring, starring in his own successful reality show and major motion pictures. He also faced off against Bad Bunny in the past and it seems he wants a piece of Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico.

The company would be heading outside the United States for the WWE Backlash premium live event. Taking place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the event is set to have Bad Bunny as the host.

This will be the first WWE Premium Live Event to take place in Puerto Rico since New Year’s Revolution in January 2005. After an overwhelming number of pre-sale tickets, WWE has decided to give its Puerto Rican fans a treat with the go-home SmackDown taking place at the same venue as WWE Backlash. Even Bad Bunny made it clear he will not miss the events for anything.

The A-Lister squared off against Bad Bunny as part of a tag team match at WrestleMania 37, where he was on the losing team. That said, fans always wondered if the two would ever clash again.

While speaking with WrestlingNews.co’s Steve Fall, The Miz made it clear that he would love to face off against the Puerto Rican rapper again. The Miz added that it would be a dream match for him to face Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico.

Me versus Bad Bunny, one on one. It sounds like a dream match to me in Puerto Rico.

The thing about John Cena is he’s a global superstar. You look at the movies he’s done, Peacemaker, the television show, and then all the accolades he can do in WWE. He’s put forth the work. No one has a harder work ethic than John Cena, and it shows and it resonates to us. I love the fact that he has come back to WrestleMania to face one of the one of the rising stars in WWE in Austin Theory and I’m curious to see what Austin Theory does with this. When you go up against John Cena, you can sink or swim. It’s a very tall task. Will he be able to handle it? I think so, but only time will tell.”

Bad Bunny made an appearance during WrestleMania 39 Night One, where he helped Rey Mysterio defeat his son Dominik Mysterio. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether The Miz and Bad Bunny will duke it out at WWE Backlash.

What’s your take on The Miz? Do you want him to square off against Bad Bunny? Sound off in the comments!
