Roman Reigns Still Wants Match Against The Rock

Roman Reigns is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling right now. He has been the Undisputed Universal Champion for a long time now and continues to rule WWE with an iron fist. Despite being The Rock’s cousin, Roman Reigns has carved his path in professional wrestling. That said, it seems he is still down to face The Rock in the future.

Wrestling fans were eagerly anticipating a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania for a long time. The WWE even hinted at the possibility of this match for a while which only increased the excitement among fans who were looking forward to seeing these two superstars face off in the ring.

However, the match no longer took place at the Show of Shows. The Rock simply couldn’t be ready in time to wrestle at WrestleMania 39. Roman Reigns even defended The Rock for being ready to compete at the event.

While speaking with ESPN, Roman Reigns talked about the possibility of facing off against The Great One in the future. The Tribal Chief made it clear that he is still down for a match with The Rock.

”I think anybody would love to have that match. They’d be lying (if they said they didn’t).

I could ‘Tribal Chief’ you and say blah, blah. But at the end of the day, I want what’s going to be biggest for the fans, because that’s going to reflect what I was able to accomplish.

And if that’s one of the biggest ones out there, let’s do it. But if not, like everything else in life, we’re going to roll with the punches.”

We will have to wait and see whether The Tribal Chief will be squaring off against The Rock somewhere dow the line. After all, even The Rock is more than open to facing his cousin next year.
