Rey Mysterio wanted his son Dominik Mysterio by his side for his Hall of Fame induction as it was such a special moment for the masked luchador. However, Dominik Mysterio had other ideas.
The Judgment Day, which consisted of Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, caused a scene as they walked out in the middle of Rey Mysterio’s speech, which led to the crowd in attendance showering them with boos.
WWE posted an Instagram reel of The Judgment Day after they returned backstage. Damian Priest claimed the Hall of Fame ceremony was a “waste of time,” while Dominik Mysterio sent a warning to his father, calling him a ”deadbeat dad.”
“Mr. Hall of Fame! All I see is a deadbeat dad that I’m gonna beat tomorrow at WrestleMania. See you there, jefe.”
Rey Mysterio will face off against his son at WrestleMania 39. Their feud will not be a one-off either, so we’ll have to see how their feud will progress after the Show of Show concludes.
