Triple H took control of WWE’s creative direction when Vince McMahon retired. This saw him push a few of his NXT favorites, and many fans were expecting to see Shinsuke Nakamura get some love from creative as well, but he hasn’t been around much at all.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter briefly touched on Shinsuke Nakamura during the latest issue. It was noted that Nakamura is “on hold” until after WrestleMania. We can only assume that there are plans for him to make an impression sometime after the show of shows is in the rearview mirror.

We’ll have to see what WWE does with Shinsuke Nakamura. There was no note that he is injured, so the King of Strong Style might just be waiting in the wings for his eventual return.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s match against the Great Muta was a really cool thing that Triple H let him do. Interestingly enough, Vince McMahon actually did not approve that Muta match, but things obviously changed. Now, funny enough, The Great Muta is getting into the WWE Hall of Fame.
