Brock Lesnar has accomplished a lot throughout his two runs in WWE and even had a dominant run in the UFC. That being said, it seems Paul Heyman confirmed that Brock Lesnar walked out on WWE before WrestleMania 31.

The main event of WrestleMania 31 saw Brock Lesnar face off against Roman Reigns. The match was an all-out war as both competitors gave it their all to pick up the win. Of course, Seth Rollins ended up cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and made history.

However, five weeks before WrestleMania 31 news broke out that Brock Lesnar had walked out during a Monday Night Raw taping, which left Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman in a very difficult spot as they had to continue the build all on their own.

While speaking on the Out of Character podcast with Ryan Satin, Paul Heyman talked about the aforementioned subject. The Wiseman confirmed that The Beast Incarnate had actually walked out on WWE before WrestleMania 31.

“I was there for his (Roman Reigns’) first WrestleMania main event because it was against Brock Lesnar.

I was there for the first promo he had to do about his first WrestleMania main event because it was the night after the blizzard and Brock and I came and I opened it up by shaking his hand and telling him that I’ve known your family longer than you’ve known your own family and then when we finally brought it out into the ring, Brock had walked out of WWE five weeks before WrestleMania and we were tasked with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman in the ring talking about Roman Reigns’ first WrestleMania main event.

Just the two of us, which history will now show, these parallels between these two men (Reigns & Cody Rhodes) that carry their family legacies, both from the past and into the future.

Cody Rhodes’ first promo with somebody about his first WrestleMania main event was with me.”

This also was not the first time Brock Lesnar would walk out on the company. Brock Lesnar is set to square off against Omos at WrestleMania 39, where it is likely that he will topple the giant. Only time will tell whether Brock Lesnar will still wrestle after The Showcase Of The Immortals next month.

What’s your take on this Brock Lesnar story? Are you shocked he walked out on WWE? Sound off in the comments!
