Logan Paul made a name for himself as a YouTube influencer and a professional boxer before venturing into the world of professional wrestling. He had a tremendous 2022, having solid matches against the likes of The Miz and then Roman Reigns. Being a controversial name in the past, it seems Paul wants to be humbled by life sometimes.
While speaking with Kevin Hart on Cold as Balls, Logan Paul opened up about his personal growth and the challenges he has faced in front of the world. Kevin Hart commended Logan Paul for his authenticity and transparency, acknowledging that he has seen a lot of growth in the young star over the years.
Logan Paul himself acknowledged that his entire life has played out in front of the public eye, with all of his triumphs and failures documented for the world to see. This has forced him to confront his mistakes and learn from them in better ways.
Despite his many successes, Logan Paul admits that he has been humbled many times, and that this has played a significant role in shaping his self-worth.
I’ve grown up in front of the world. My failures and my successes are all online. They’re for the entire world to see. So I gotta live with the things that I do. I’ve been humbled many times. I think that just played into this self-worth that I have, that I got something to prove.
Kevin Hart also brought up the fact that Logan Paul has made some severe mistakes in the past and suggested that these experiences were necessary for his personal growth. Logan Paul then opened up about his own stubbornness, and how his unwavering belief in himself can sometimes lead him astray.
In order to counteract this tendency, Paul admitted that he needs life to “check” him in drastic ways, to bring him back down to earth and remind him of the importance of humility. Ultimately, Paul finally matured into a better person and that is all that matters.
I need to be checked by life sometimes in really drastic ways. I think I’m just so stubborn. Like you said, my conviction in myself gets inflated to a level where I need life to smack me in the f****** d***.
