Braun Strowman remains one of the biggest stars in all of WWE, but some believe he doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. This has been apparent since his callous remarks about indie wrestlers during the height of the pandemic. He also made some controversial remarks about high-flying wrestlers last year, and now it seems Strowman is glad about his comments.

The Monster Among Monsters made headlines back in November last year after he took a shot at Dave Meltzer’s rating system. He then proceeded to bash on ‘flippy floppy’ wrestlers, and this led to a lot of backlash.

In fact, the likes of Mustafa Ali and Will Ospreay reacted to Strowman’s remarks. Interestingly enough, Strowman was eventually paired up with Ricochet and now they are a solid tag team on Friday Night Smackdown. In fact, they will compete in the tag team showcase match at WrestleMania 39.

While speaking on the Ringer Wrestling Show, Braun Strowman looked back on the tweet. Strowman made it clear that he was unapologetic about his tweet and stated that the tweet led to him getting a match at WrestleMania 39.

“I love stirring the proverbial hornet’s nest of the internet wrestling community because it’s so easy, y’all sell so hard for me. So hard. People that know me, everyone in our locker room knows me and how I am. If I’m picking on you, that means I care about you. That’s just the personality that I am. If I’m going out of my way and spending my time on you, whether it’s picking on you, talking to you, that means I care about you. If I don’t talk to you, that means I don’t like you. Joking around, I was feeling myself.”

“I think Omos and I went out there and tore the house down. Where on earth do you see two human beings like that in the same room? Much less going out there and doing what we did. I have no problem patting myself on the back on the internet or wherever. Some people like it, some people hate it. Guess what, look where we’re at. Look what happened out of one tweet. One tweet set the internet on fire and it’s leading to a showcase match at WrestleMania. Soooo, did I do something right or did I do something wrong?”

Even Ricochet had previously stated that he did not put much thought into the tweet. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Strowman and Ricochet will end up winning the match at WrestleMania 39.

What do you think of BraunStrowman’s tweet? Are you looking forward to see him compete at WrestleMania 39? Sound off in the comments!
