WWE is only days away from holding its extravagant two-night show, WrestleMania 39, set to take place under the bright lights of Hollywood. The two-night event is expected to be a massive hit and the first edition to be planned under the new creative regime. Moreover, the team appears to be way ahead of its plans after WrestleMania.
Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE decided on their WrestleMania 39 card in January. This was months ahead of the show of shows, and now WWE’s CEO is confirming our exclusive report.
WWE’s new creative management came into effect after Vince McMahon retired from the company. He passed on his duties as Head of Creative to his son-in-law, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H.
Triple H’s leadership has done an excellent job so far. They have completely revamped the television product, improved storylines and development of young talent, and brought back many top WWE superstars released earlier.
Moreover, WWE President and CEO Nick Khan recently revealed that Triple H’s regime is already months ahead of WrestleMania with their creative plans. He spoke about the same during an interview with The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“Months in advance. Months, months, months in advance. If you said now, ‘where is the creative team with their process?’ They are months ahead of WrestleMania. Obviously, a huge focus on Saturday and Sunday to make sure we can execute what the plan is, but they’re months ahead and they know that’s the way it should be because 52 weeks a year, three to four programs a week, if you’re not months ahead, you’re going to get caught.”
Despite Vince McMahon returning to WWE as Executive Chairman, reports suggest that Triple H is still in charge of creative with no interference from McMahon regarding any decisions. We will have to wait and see what happens next after WrestleMania is done and dusted.
Do you appreciate the work done by Triple H’s team? What could be their future creative plans? Sound off in the comments!
