AEW has been making headlines since its inception, one way or the other. One of the key members of the AEW roster, Matt Jackson, has suffered an injury that will force him to take some time off from the ring. Despite that, he will likely have an on-screen role while he remains inactive as an in-ring competitor.

Matt Jackson’s last match was the triple threat trios match against the Jericho Appreciation Society, and House of Black. Jackson’s team, The Elite, did not win the match as the House of Black retained.

During that match, Matt Jackson ended up suffering a bicep injury. As previously reported, Matt Jackson’s bicep injury is a legitimate one and it will keep him out of action for a long time.

According to a report by Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was noted that Matt Jackson will very likely remain on AEW television in some capacity while he recovers from his injury.

Despite Matt Jackson’s injury, we’re told there’s a good chance he remains on television in some capacity.

It was previously noted that Matt Jackson will not need surgery for his torn biceps injury. That being said, his injury recovery time will be taking longer than expected. We’ll have to see how AEW will keep him on television till then.

What’s your take on this unexpected AEW injury? Do you still want to see Matt Jackson on AEW television? Sound off in the comments!
