Carmella is one of the most underrated WWE female competitors in the last few years. She took a hiatus last year to recover from a tragic personal incident for which she opened up a couple of months back. Recently, the Princess of Staten Island has been to work during the ongoing WrestleMania 39 week after a brief absence.

The former Smackdown’s Women Champion appeared to be in a program with the latest addition to WWE’s female roster, Chelsea Green. Reports suggested that WWE was planning to push them as tag team competitors going forward. The duo was likely to make a major impact on the female tag team division in the coming months. Then Carmella was taken out of the situation and replaced by Sonya Deville.

The Princess of Staten Island had her last match on March 12th in a 10-woman tag team bout at the WWE live event from the iconic Madison Square Garden. Fans observed that she was replaced at multiple house shows by Piper Niven.

Recently amidst the rumors, she announced on Twitter that she was in Los Angeles this week. This is probably an indication that Carmella might be involved in the WrestleMania 39 festivities.

“Good morning, LA [sunglasses emoji],”

A fan replied to her tweet that they missed Carmella, and the former SmackDown gave her response to the same.

“I miss you guys too! Thanks so much for your support. Appreciate you!!”

Carmella also appeared alongside Bobby Lashley and Iyo Sky at Los Angeles Angels MLB game on Tuesday. However, no information is available regarding Carmella’s return to the ring.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that, “Titus O’Neil, Carmella, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, Xavier Woods and Lacey Taylor have a Be A Star Rally.” So, Carmella is doing WWE related things while in LA.

Since Carmella has scheduled appearances this week in Los Angeles for a Be A Star anti-bullying protest and a Make-A-Wish event, she will be around in case WWE needs her. Only time will tell what’s in the near future for the first-ever “Women’s Money in the Bank Winner.”

Do you want Carmella to make a team with Chelsea Green? Or do you prefer her to compete individually? Sound off in the comments.
