Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a match for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship between Kenny Omega and Jeff Cobb. The Cleaner retained the title after he hit Cobb with a huge One Winged Angel.
The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) arrived after the match to circle the ring. Danielson’s music hit and The American Dragon arrived in the ring to talk some sense into his BCC comrades.
After Omega tried to take out BCC with his title, Bryan Danielson took advantage of the distraction and took him out with a busaiku knee, revealing his true intentions in the process. The BCC had turned heels amid the dragon’s absence and now the group is back at full strength.
Moxley, Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta had attacked Adam Page earlier during the show. The group had also taken out The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) last Wednesday before Dynamite.
Jim Cornette blasted Jon Moxley for using “Wild Things” as his theme song, while playing a heel on AEW television. You can read the complete article by clicking the link here.
