WrestleMania 39 is just around the corner and the hype for the biggest wrestling show of the year is at an all time high. For this year’s WrestleMania, WWE is returning to Hollywood. The last time WWE superstars traveled to Greater Los Angeles for a WrestleMania was in 2006, when the company presented WrestleMania 21 from the Staples Center.
WWE dropped numerous commercials featuring their biggest superstars in the buildup to the Showcase of the Immortals. The latest WrestleMania Goes Hollywood parody aired on RAW last night and it featured The Bloodline. The top act brought their magic to recreate the iconic “Do you think I’m funny?” scene from Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas.”
At one point during the commercial, Roman Reigns smashes an empty glass on a waiter and the whole group except Solo Sikoa bursts into laughter. For those wondering about the identity of the man who plays the waiter, he’s none other than former NJPW star Karl Fredericks. The 32-year-old signed with WWE earlier this year and is set to make his NXT debut tonight as Eddy Thorpe.
