Adam Cole has been absent from action since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 due to two head injuries. However, he made his comeback to AEW Dynamite on January 11 and provided an update on his recovery. He appeared on last week’s Dynamite and revealed that he will make his in-ring return on this week’s Dynamite. Now it seems Cole feels that he can wrestle for 10 to 15 more years.
Adam Cole is set to make his highly anticipated in-ring return on AEW Dynamite this coming Wednesday, where he will be taking on Daniel Garcia in his first sanctioned match since competing in the main event of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in the summer of 2022.
While speaking to The Pop Break ahead of the premiere of AEW: All Access on TBS, Adam Cole opened up about his in-ring career, expressing his excitement to return to the ring and his belief that he has not yet reached his prime. He stated that he feels he has 10-15 more years left in the ring and is thankful for the second chance he has been given to continue doing what he loves.
As far as March 29th goes, I could not be more elated and excited to get back into the ring. It’s my dream, this is all I have ever wanted to do since I was nine and I am very proud of the career that I have had, but in a lot of ways I haven’t even hit my prime yet in my opinion. I feel as if I have 10-15 more years in the ring. I am very thankful that I have been given this second chance in a lot of different ways. March 29th, I am going to be a wreck.
We will have to wait and see how Adam Cole will perform in his first match since last year. That being said, it is certain that fans will be fully behind Adam Cole in the match.
