WWE RAW Results Coverage, Reactions & Highlights For March 27, 2023

With just a week away from WrestleMania 39, tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW promises an exciting night of action as Cody Rhodes will take on Solo Sikoa. There is also a massive eight-man tag team match planned for the show. The updated match card is as follows:

• Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa
• Viking Raiders & Alpha Academy vs. Street Profits and Braun Strowman & Ricochet
• Special edition of Miz TV featuring Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch
• Brock Lesnar and Omos weigh-in

WWE RAW Opener:

The opening package for the show airs and the commentar

The Miz’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring. He starts by welcoming the audience to Miz TV. He says this is the final RAW on the road to WrestleMania. He says they will get to the bottom of one of the most heated rivalries in the WWE.

Miz then welcomes his guests Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch. Trish Stratus’ music plays followed by Lita’s and Becky Lynch’s and they walk to the ring.

Miz says Damage CTRL made Becky’s life miserable so much so that she needed backup and he asks what it felt like to know that she couldn’t do it by herself.

Becky says she is The Man just Miz is a man and says Miz sounds like an insecure man with tiny b**ls. Miz says they are massive. Becky says Damage CTRL have been a thorn in her side and she thought she ended them at WarGames but they kept coming back. So, she needed backup in two of the people she respects the most.

Miz asks why did Trish and Lita make their return to play backup to Becky Lynch. Lita says she doesn’t feel like backup. Damage CTRL’s music plays and they walk to the ring.

Bayley interrupts the Miz and says she has something to say. Bayley says she is so sick and tired of their opponents treating this like any other match. Bayley says Trish and Lita meant something 20 years ago.

Trish says that the title on Lita’s shoulders means that she means something today. Bayley says at one point this would’ve been a dream match but now it’s a different kind of dream. She then insults the crowd.

Bayley says her new dream is to take out Lynch and two Hall of Famers. Becky asks what will she do next because they aren’t doing anything and they are doing the same tired stuff since SummerSlam. She then says that this will only end at WrestleMania.

*Commercial break*

Becky Lynch vs. IYO SKY

The match starts and Lynch knocks SKY down. She hits the Becksploder suplex and does it again as IYO rolls to the apron. Damage CTRL pulls IYO out of the ring. Lynch grabs Bayley and IYO takes advantage.

IYO attacks Lynch in the corner. Cover! 1..2…kick out. IYO with a dropkick. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Lynch tries to fight back but it isn’t enough.

Lynch knocks down IYO. She kicks her in the head and hits a clothesline sending her out of the ring. Lynch with a baseball dropkick. She sends her back into the ring and hits a reverse DDT. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Lynch goes for the Manhandle slam but IYO reverses and stomps her. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

*Commercial break*

Becky Lynch with a superplex. IYO with a German suplex. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Becky climbs the top rope but is stopped by IYO Sky who hits a dropkick. SKY with a moonsault on the outside. She sends her into the ring. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

IYO climbs the top rope and goes for a moonsault and misses. both women attempt rollup. Becky kicks out of a rollup attempt and hits the Manhandle slam for the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Cathy interviews Seth Rollins who is interrupted by Ali who says he wants to help Seth see the positive side to Logan Paul knocking him out. He says Logan and his fans can’t wait to see if he will land those lucky punches.

Seth laughs at him and says he deserves a prize or he could fight him tonight before walking away.

Seth Rollins vs. Mustafa Ali

Seth Rollins’ music plays and he walks to the ring. Ali is in the ring.

The match begins and Rollins knocks Ali down with a clothesline. Rollins attacks him in the corner. Ali sends Rollins into the turnbuckle. He climbs the top rope but is stopped by Rollins.

Seth stomps him when he is in the tree of woe. Rollins hits the stomp again for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Following the match, Rollins gets on the mic and says he will get his hands on Logan Paul at WrestleMania. He says Logan has a history of making a joke out of himself and says if he can’t beat Logan Paul at WrestleMania, then he is the joke.

He then recalls all the times, Logan Paul has gotten the better of him. Seth says that in 5 days it will come back around. He also mentions that April 1 is Logan’s birthday and says the crowd will serenade him all night but it won’t be a happy birthday song, it will instead be his theme song. He then asks the crowd to sing his song which they do.

Rollins says he will see Logan at WrestleMania.

Baron Corbin is backstage and he says he doesn’t have a WrestleMania match. He asks for a break. Chelsea interrupts them and asks why she isn’t in the showcase match. Adam says she doesn’t have a tag team partner. Sonya Deville comes in and says Adam is worried about strong women. Adam says they can team together tonight to get the final spot in the showcase match. Chelsea and Sonya like the idea and leave together.

*Commercial break*

Corey Graves is in the ring and he introduces Omos and MVP. Omos’ music plays and he walks to the ring.

MVP says he will take it from here and reminds everyone that this is one final opportunity for Brock to see Omos. He says he respects Brock Lesnar as he has conquered so many people. He then says Brock cannot suplex Omos and he won’t defeat him.

Omos then steps on the scale to check his weight, Brock Lesnar’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

Beck attacks Omos multiple times but he is knocked down with one kick as he rolls away.

Rhea Ripley is interviewed backstage and she says she must become the biggest star in this industry. She says Charlotte can’t stop her from winning at WrestleMania.

Street Profits and Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Viking Raiders and Alpha Academy

Street Profits’ music plays and they come out to the ring. Braun Strowman’s music plays and he comes out with Ricochet.

*Commercial break*

Alpha Academy’s music plays and they come out to the ring. Viking Raiders’ theme song plays and they come down to the ring.

The match starts with Chad Gable and Dawkins in the ring. Dawkins knocks Gable down. Ricochet comes in and goes for the dropkick. He tags in Strowman and they attack Gable. Montez tags in and hits a couple of arm drags.

Gable knocks him down. Both teams come in and brawl. Otis sends Strowman out of the ring.

*Commercial break*

Erik goes to work on Montez Ford. Erik tags out and Ivar attacks Ford. He tags out and Erik continues the attack. He tags out and Otis hits the elbow. Ford fights back but gets knocked down. They both tag out and Dawkins comes in and attacks Ivar.

Eerik comes in and attacks Dawkins. Dawkins tags out and Strowman comes in and takes out everyone on the outside. Erik with a knee to the face. Strowman with a spine buster. Ricochet hits a senton and Ford hits a splash for the win.

Winner; Street Profits and Braun Strowman & Ricochet

Cody Rhodes is interviewed backstage. He says he loves being in a vulnerable position. He says Solo is undefeated and he says Solo finds out he is not ready and at WrestleMania, he will defeat Roman Reigns.

*Commercial break*

Austin Theory is in an empty ring and he says John Cena made this rivalry personal by insulting him, So he will make Cena believe in him and he will make the audience to stop believing in Cena.

Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green vs. Mia Yim & Candace LeRae

Sonya Deville’s music plays and she comes out. Chelsea Green’s music hit next and she comes out and they both walk to the ring together.

*Commercial break*

The match begins with Mia Yim and Sonya Deville in the ring. Yim with a dropkick. She goes for a cannonball and misses. Sonya tags out and Chelsea attacks Michin in the ring. She tags out and Sonya comes in and continues the attack. She tags out and Michin hits the double neckbreaker.

She tags out and Candace with a crossbody from the top rope. She knocks down Chelsea Green with a clothesline and a senton. She tags out and they double-team Green.

Sonya hits Michin when the referee wasn’t looking and Chelsea Green hit unprettier for the win.

Winner: Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville

Rey Mysterio vs Damian Priest

Damian Priest’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Cathy Kelley interviews Paul Heyman who says Cody Rhodes is not ready for Roman Reigns and he proved it. He says Solo is ready to weaken Cody Rhodes for his match against Roman Reigns.

He then says Roman is ready to rise to the occasion and that is the difference between Cody and Reigns. He says this is the same Cody Rhodes that we’ve known our entire lives. He says Cody was never ready to fill his father’s shoes and he wasn’t ready to be the man of this generation. He says Cody needs to be ready to take the beating that will be inflicted upon him tonight.

He says on Sunday night, Cody Rhodes will be ready to lose to Roman Reigns. He then asks Cody to be ready to acknowledge Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania.

Dominik is in the ring and says it takes a lowlife to hit your child and calls Rey a deadbeat. Dominik says everyone will know that Rey is a failure of a father after he beats him at WrestleMania.

Dominik yells something in Spanish. He asks what kind of father hits his own son. Dominik says he wishes Eddie was his real father and Rey never existed. He says the Mysterio name will be his at WrestleMania.

Rey Mysterio’s theme song plays and he makes his way to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Rey with a bulldog. He then hits the senton and kicks him in the face. Rey goes for a crossbody but is caught and planted. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Damian Priest hung up on the rope. Mysterio goes for the 619 but Priest knocks him down with a clothesline. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Rey is sent into the turnbuckle and set up on the top rope. Rey with an hurricanrana from the tope rope. He hits the 619 and goes to the top rope but Dominik knocks him down and attacks him as the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Rey Mysterio via DQ

They both double-team Rey. Santos Escobar’s music plays and he comes out with Legado Del Fantasma to help Rey Mysterio.

The O.C. and Johnny Gargano check to see if they are in the battle royale. Rick Boogs and Elias also find out they are in the match. Elias runs into Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed, and Bobby Lashley who says he will see him this Friday.

Gunther vs. Dolph Ziggler

Imperium’s music plays and they walk out to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are backstage. Zayn says this is so emotional because it is taking place in Los Angeles because that is where they made a name for themselves. Owens says every fight they’ve had together has been about furthering their career and this doesn’t get better than this.

Kevin Owens says he will show The Usos what they can do as a team and they will defeat The Usos.

Dolph Ziggler’s music plays next and he makes his way to the ring.

Dolph hits a dropkick and DDT. He goes for a superkick but is caught and knocked down by Gunther. He attacks Dolph in the corner.

*Commercial break*

Gunther hits a powerslam for the win

Winner: Gunther

He gets on the mic and says it is a disgrace that he is forced to defend his title against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. He then says what happened to Ziggler is what will happen to both of them.

Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa

Cody Rhodes’ music plays and he walks to the ring. Solo Sikoa’s music plays next and he makes his way to the ring.

*Commercial break*

The match begins and Cody hits him with an uppercut and a dropkick. He attacks Solo but he fights back with a Samoan drop. Cody rolls out of the ring and Sikoa goes after him.

Cody sends Sikoa into the steel steps. He attacks the legs of Solo. He goes for a disaster kick but Sikoa slams him to the mat. He knocks Cody off the apron onto the announcer’s table.

Cody fights back and hits a suicide dive but is caught and driven into the announcer’s desk. Solo slams Cody into the announcer’s desk again.

*Commercial break*

Solo goes to work on Cody. Solo attacks Cody in the corner. Solo with a headbutt. Cody fights back with a clothesline and a powerslam. Rhodes hits a disaster kick. He follows it with a Cody cutter. He hits the Cross Rhodes. Cover! 1….2…..Solo gets his foot on the rope. Cody climbs the top rope and goes for the moonsault but misses.

Solo goes for the Samoan spike but Cody escapes and hits the Cody cutter. The Usos’ music hit and they come out to ringside. Solo with a superkick and a spinning solo. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens come out and brawl with The Usos. Solo goes for the Samoan Spike but Cody counters into the Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winner: Cody Rhodes
