WWE has one more RAW before WrestleMania 39, and tonight’s episode of the red brand should be something special. We will have to see what goes down, but Triple H’s crew is going to hype SmackDown a bit this week while they’re at it.
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal used to be a staple of the WrestleMania event. In recent years, it has been relegated to SmackDown. That being said, they still want to create some buzz for the big over the top rope match.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE is planning to hype this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match during RAW this week. Names like Bobby Lashley, Johnny Gargano, Rick Boogs, Dolph Ziggler and more will be a part of the match, so anyone could be around to boost public attention.
There is set to be some Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal promotion tonight. Lashley, Gargano, Lumis, Boogs, Ziggler, Elias, Mustafa Ali, Gallows & Anderson, Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed, LA Knight, Cedric Alexander, Madcap Moss, Xavier Woods, Maximum Male Models, Hit Row, Butch, Ridge Holland, Shelton Benjamin, Los Lotharios, Legado Del Fantasma are all included in the latest roster for the match.
WWE’s biggest show of the year will be a two-night extravaganza on April 1st and 2nd. WrestleMania is always a loaded event, and this might be a banner year, and a historic event as well.
Vince McMahon’s return to WWE saw him usher in the idea that the company could be sold by the middle of 2023. It seems that they are on track to make that goal, so this is a very interesting time for the company, to say the least.
What’s your take on the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal? Does it even matter? Who should win it this year? Sound off in the comments!
