WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is certainly one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever been a part of the professional wrestling world. The success he saw during his rookie year in WWE is still unbeaten even now. That being said, it seems Kurt Angle believes that it is not the right time to induct Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

The Olympic Gold Medalist earned accolades throughout his pro wrestling career, including becoming a multi-time World Champion. Angle also faced many legendary pro wrestlers in his career, including Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio will join a select group of superstars who became WWE Hall of Famers while still being an active in-ring competitor in WWE. Many people are happy for Rey Mysterio getting this prestigious honor.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle show, Kurt Angle talked about Rey Mysterio’s impending WWE Hall Of Fame induction. Angle stated that he believes it is not the right time for Rey Mysterio to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

“I’m so happy for him. I’m surprised that, you know what, I’m not surprised they are not doing it when he retires. But, you know, I think Rey being inducted into the Hall of Fame this prematurely, I think he deserves it still; I just don’t think it’s the right time. I think he should get into the Hall of Fame after he retires. But that’s me, and I’m old school, and that’s how I think.”

Rey Mysterio is set to square off against his son Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see whether The Master of the 619 will be able to win the match in the end.
